• 04/05: Global Islands Project: An ongoing investigation of global islands accompanied by multi-media pdf-publications.
  
• Still looking for challenging print/publishing/teaching position!!!
  
• 11/04: traded the Delta houseboat for this ocean-going trimaran.
  
• Still working with the Belize web imagery:
  the project will feature Kriol captions, a field-recording audio-CD and printed-booklet! Off to the tropical sun of Thailand for the winter! Hope to add some good audio-recordings to my bbs and possibly upload images to the blog. Still looking for challenging print/publishing/teaching position!!!
• 10/03: latest addition: Auditions, was finalized on the boat and completed in Portland. Also added many new 12hr-jpegs to the project. Working on the red drawings again and a web-calendar of Solar Performance. Still looking for interesting publication/design work. I'd like to be in Belize for the winter!
• 03/03: laid-off from Wired by servile corporate creeps in a 'cost-saving' measure... concerted efforts on the Red Drawings: three sets of overprinted block images now! They're looking quite good. Will scan an inventory prior to spending the summer on the Delta houseboat. Occasionally looking for interesting print/publishing work-positions/projects...
• focusing on the 'Red Drawings;' adding additional layers of red-inked papers
• refining the paste mixture so as to enable a taut (when dry) surface: this process has moved past its resemblance to 'collage.'
• adding some colored tempera 'cloudings' to some of the drawings
• Drawings have assumed a vertical orientation
• making a few sketches toward a later small painted pictorial element

  

• LUKASA -- mnemonic encoding as opposed to symbolic representation
• have gone back to my early sources of the Red Drawings: and found additional red-inked papers and red-line-drawings that I`ve digitally extracted from their ground: possible additional photo-lino overprints; in a brick-red ink
